The antlers won’t fit on the dual-pane windows so it’s just for the photo op.
Merry Xmas and safe holidays to all!!

I did
n’t
know dual-pane windows were a thing again. The last time I heard of a car with them was the W140

Both my W220 and LS430 have them, they’ve been on S classes since the W140.

Almost all Mercedes C class and up have dual pane/acoustic windows.
Here’s how it looks on the C Class

Does Cali force you to have the license plate? We have the same car and don’t have a license plate on the front. Never realized they didn’t really plan for one to go there.

It’s so dumb that automakers never design for a front plate anymore. Really pisses me off. Almost as much as a state that only requires rear plate only issuing a single plate for a car that is actually designed properly and has a very clear front plate mount. It’s like reason number 11071 that I believe all motor vehicle stuff should be federal not state level. How is anything car related not “interstate commerce” anyway?

E verything you said is true. Merry Christmas!

My car came from a state that doesn’t issue front plates. So the car never had the front plate bracket mounted and it was nowhere to be found when I received the car.
So I took the opportunity to do something creative* and mount it with the tow hook.
California requires a front plate (and so does just about every other country in the whole world)
, but it’s arbitrarily enforced. For a daily driver, I wouldn’t run without one.
* Clarification: Creative and incredibly stupid. The plate triggers the front corner parking sensor non-stop.

I hate this. In just about every country outside the US, you won’t get very far without a front plate. Why is it so hard to leave a stylistically safe
space on the front for the plate?

In WA, front plates are required. I think Oregon too

I don’t think any state has it. I’m in a state that forces you to have a front plate and there is no bracket.

That is one badass ride. Jelly of your facelift model with the updated UIs.

It’s definitely a nice ride, but I’m sure as you know... pain in the butt to park haha. It’s so low and so long
